WHAT WE OFFER
We service, sell, and rent electric bikes. Our sale and rental bikes are made by Trek, and we service all types of e-bikes. Our shop is certified to service Bosch, Fazua, Hyena, Shimano and TQ e-bike systems! We have experience servicing a wide variety of other systems. Bosch makes the only UL Certified electric components in the cycling industry; making them the most safe, innovative, and user friendly electric bikes.
Our certification allows us to run diagnostics on all Bosch, Fazua, Hyena, Shimano and TQ bikes, and offer software updates to ensure your bike is riding with optimum efficiency. E-bike owners should bring their bike to the shop (at minimum) every six months for software updates. Additionally, we stock accessories that will increase the durability of your system.

HOW THEY WORK
Trek's electric bikes utilize a torque-based system. This means the motor ASSISTS when the rider pedals, whereas an electric bike with a throttle has the ability to accelerate with the touch of a button. Trek's bikes feature a mid-drive motor system, meaning the motor is located at the crankset in the bottom center of the frame. Mid-drive motors (torque-based), as opposed to hub-drive (commonly throttle-based), feel as balanced and natural as a regular bike. The bikes have either three or four levels of assist, with ergonomic controls mounted on the handlebar. When you switch to a higher level of assist, the motor outputs a higher percentage of the effort you're exerting on the pedals. If you want to ride unassisted, you simply switch to "off" mode and ride just like a non-motorized bike.
